What You'll Do
·Work one-on-one with children and adolescents with autism and developmental disabilities
·Help clients build communication, social, play, and daily living skills
·Implement ABA behavior Treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
·Encourage progress and celebrate meaningful milestones
·Track client progress using a mobile application
·Collaborate with BCBAs, supervisors, and families to support client success
Many healthcare and behavioral health professionals begin their careers as Behavior Technicians. This role provides valuable hands-on experience that can support future careers in education, therapy, healthcare, and behavior analysis.
Qualifications
·High School Diploma or GED required
·College credits preferred but not required
·Experience working with children preferred, but not required
·Strong communication and interpersonal skills
·CPR/BLS Certification or willingness to obtain
·Compassionate, patient, dependable, and eager to learn
·Comfortable using technology for documentation
